Who We Are

At Salt Marsh Pediatric Therapy, we are dedicated to helping children reach their fullest potential through specialized intensive therapy.

Our founder, Julie Joyner Talbot, PT, DPT, PCS, was born and raised in Savannah and knew from an early age that she wanted to become a physical therapist. Julie attended St. Vincent’s Academy before earning her undergraduate degree at Georgia Southern University.

She gained hands-on experience working in a physical therapy clinic for three years before pursuing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Brenau University in Gainesville, GA. During her final clinical rotation, she discovered her passion for Pediatric Physical Therapy and Intensive Therapy, which shaped her career path.

Since 2021, Julie has been dedicated to working with children, helping them improve mobility and gain independence. She recently earned her Board Certification in Pediatric Physical Therapy, further solidifying her expertise in the field. Julie is passionate about empowering children and supporting families as they navigate their child’s journey toward greater mobility and confidence.
